We wanted to inform you that beginning Feb. 9th thru the week of March 14th or March 21st, Ms. Ruth will be out on leave for a very important surgery and recovery!
A tumor was discovered in Ms. Ruth's frontal lobe of her brain. After a few months of closely watching the tumor, it has been decided that removing it would be the best option to insure that it is not malignant.
The surgery will take place on Feb. 10th at 7A.M. in Dallas at the University of Texas Southwestern in the Zale Litsphy Hospital. Please keep Ms. Ruth in your prayers!
During her leave, Ms. Denise, Ms. Ashley and Ms. Emily will be working with Ms. Kim in the classroom. We will work hard to keep consistency in the classroom until Ms. Ruth returns. If you have any questions, please let us know.
We will be sending cards and flowers while she is in the hospital and then she will be able to come home sometime during the week of Feb. 14th if all goes well. We will have the address of the hospital and her home available if you need it to send something on your own.
Once again, your prayers will be greatly appreciated by Ms. Ruth and her family!

it's a blessing and a curse. the knowledge comes with a heavy burden when the news isn't good.
